The Story of Hearts & Books

 

The amazing true story about three friends and their passion for Writing Creativity and Books

 

Hello and thank you so much for visiting our Heart and Books website. There is a beautiful story behind this platform of creatives and it all started one night round a fire when two people, (Simon & Dawn) connected and started the conversation of lovers. From there on in an exciting romance started and everything that was once written in the moment of love has now manifested itself into a beautiful existence. None of this would have been possible if we did not believe in synchronicities and the power of the mind, body and spirit.

Two soon became three when we connected with the author Chris. C. and the journey continued as the universe was clearly sending very strong messages that we could not turn down the opportunities that where being presented to us.

This meant challenges of personal growth, facing the people who we are, releasing our fears of moving forward and understanding that only by co creating with the universe was this going to become a reality. We had to trust the process and have faith in ourselves and each other and by doing this we accepted each other as soul family.

Hearts and Books has three local investors and by that we mean investors of energy, love and dedication into a belief. Simon Cudworth, Dawn Armistead and Chris. C. hold the space for this platform to be active. Without the people around us none of this would be possible and we are truly grateful for the support of Diane Tew and James Brailsford for being our constant soundings boards. We are thankful to each person who has shared their work, poems, books and creations on this site. Without you this would not be possible.

So who are we? We are the co-creators, each of us blending our energies, skills, knowledge and talents together to create something more beautiful. We are the poets, the, authors, the healers, the musicians, the crafters, the witches, the misfits who fit perfectly with the synchronicities of life. 

There is a very strong sense of community growing and it feels great to be part of this community. In the pages of this website you will find beautiful hand made gifts, inspiring and funny poetry and poets, authors, stories of lived experiences and much more. Please spend some time browsing the pages. We hope you enjoy the content and we are very open to feedback. This is a new process for us and a new learning curve.
